On Sunday and Monday, the registration will take place in the historic main building. Afterwards the conference secretariat will be staffed in seminar room 5 in the Institute for Erziehungswissenschaften (Von-Melle-Park 8). A helpdesk can also be found in the foyer of the Audimax. The campus map and information on how to get to the venue by public transport can be found under this link. A map will also be distributed as part of the conference kit.

Touristic information

Food and drinks
The map and information about the cafeterias on campus can be found here (select: service > student cafeterias). Note that since the conference take place during break time, restaurants and cafeterias might have limited opening hours, or be closed.
Outside of the campus there are numerous restaurant within walking distance. Area of "high restaurant density" are on the West side entrance of the Campus (Allende Platz), and then along the Grundelhof street, and towards the south of the campus, beyond the Dammtor train station, in partiuclar, along the road "Colonaden". A number of fast food and sandwich places are availabel in the train station.
Indicated are areas surrounding the campus with many restaurants. Note the the conference is not connected to any of these restaurants and does not endorse of recommend specific places.
WiFi
The eduroam network is available throughout the entire conference venue and the default choice to connect to the internet. If you do not have an eduroam account, you can connect also via the Universität Hamburg UHH guest network.
ATMs and Payment
A cash machine is located on campus inside the Main University Restaurant (Mensa) (operated by Hamburger Sparkasse). Another machine is available on the premises of the Hotel "Grand Elyssee", right behind the main university building.
Most places including resturant and shops accept credit cards and online payment systems in addition to cash - though cash is still heavily used in Germany.
Please be aware that while ticekt vending machines for Hamburg public transport all accept credit cards, this is not the case if you buy your ticket directly at the bus driver - here you are required to pay cash.
